I'm sad I didn't make it out to watch it in the theaters but I just know I'm going to love it.
Especially after reading this article:
"What I learned from Anna Wintour"-The Huffington Post
(think Devil Wears Prada, literally)
Anyhow, this is an article written by the director of this documentary and it can be summed up in 4 points. 4 points that I completely agree with and hope to follow if I ever find myself in a similar position:
- Keep meetings short...WORDDDDDDDD. Personally, I think that if you are positioned under somebody (or everybody like me haha) come 5 minutes early with your shit together. Common-work ethic-sense.
- Trust your instincts
- Surround yourself with great talent
- Don't look back
"Fashion's not about looking back. It's always about looking forward."
"On to the next."-Anna Wintour
Wise words from a woman who is not only talented and powerful, but is always found with an immaculately intact bob- a feat unto itself.
