Tim Burton

After two failed attempts, I was finally able to go check out the Tim Burton exhibit at MOMA.
FREE!!! :) courtesy of Lu (and his friend with MOMA membership).
You know I love the freebies!

Just read an article in the NY Times about the new generation of young curators taking the museum scene by storm.
The shrinking job market, especially within an industry that is first to go, has reinvented the image of the museum curator by forcing people of our generation to consider what was once viewed as a stereotypically boring, stuffy, non-stimulating career choice.

The Tim Burton exhibit is a perfect example of these original collaborative measures-
Case in point:

I went expecting to find, maybe the development process of Tim Burton's famous films, but was surprised to see the evolution of his works as an artist.
Very very talented illustrator at the least.
Always perceived him as a quirky director figure, nothing more. My lack of insight I guess.

Then headed to Le Meridien for their secret hamburger joint.
Kind of loving all that this hotel has to offer!
