Today, I experienced the most genuine act of kindness. ever.
I had a very...challenging day. It wasn't a bad day for me but it was just...hard. Anyhow, my drive home, I was mentally patting myself on the back for dealing with it so well. (so I thought)
I stopped by Quiznos to buy dinner and as I was about to order, the guy asked me if I was okay. He said I looked upset, which only made me smile and respond, "It's that obvious?!"
After his manager rang me up. He was packing my sandwich, and he snuck in a brownie saying, "Tomorrow will be a better day."
Who does that?!
TOTALLY made my day.
